The Time Capsule
Residents of Lake Ridge buried a time capsule at Tackett’s Mill on March 29th, 1985 and it was opened on May 29th, 2019 on the 50th anniversary of the founding of Lake Ridge.
Tackett’s Mill Center invites residents to see this buried piece of local history, and the memories that were placed inside it, at the Clearbrook Center of the Arts, at 2230B Tackett’s Mill Drive, on the Lakeside portion of Tackett’s Mill where local artists from the Prince William Arts Society also have their works on display, and for purchase.

Tackett’s Mill Center is Prince William County’s original town center.
With retail and office components, the Center is Located in Lake Ridge, Virginia, within a mile of I95 and Route 123, at the corner of Old Bridge Road and Harbor Drive, just off Minnieville Road.
